COURSE DESCRIPTION

"Easy on the surface and profound in its depth, playing together could transform your relationship"

Marlene and Bob used to think that it was important to work hard at their relationship. Now 55 years since they met, and after coaching hundreds of couples, they have learned that playing together is more essential than work in creating a lasting loving relationship.

In this course, Bob and Marlene will take you on a journey, exploring how play can enrich your relationship with your loved one. Couples have often forgotten to prioritize play. Play is universal. It quickly brings us to the core of our personalities and our essence. Marlene and Bob demonstrate a variety of options for play. They include their personal experiences as members of an improv theatre group and initiates on the Sufi path to help you expand your repertoire and bring more lightness to your relationship. Easy on the surface and profound at its depth, playing together could transform your relationship.

Bob and Marlene Neufeld

Bob and Marlene Neufeld help couples learn life-changing relationship skills and create closer loving relationships. They have been married since 1970 and have been collaborating in a two-on-two coaching/counseling practice, seminars, workshops, and retreats since 2003. They are graduates of the Hendricks Institute and the Foundation for Conscious Living and Loving (2004). Everything they share has been personally "kitchen-tested."

They are both initiates on the Sufi Path and members of the Sufi Ruhaniat Order. They are members of the Ottawa Playback Theatre troupe, a unique form of improvisational theatre in which participants tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot.

They are currently in their 70's and are having a more exciting, playful, and spiritually connected relationship than ever before. They are eager to share what they have learned with you.

What do people have to say

NANCY S., PROGRAM PARTICIPANT

"...their connection as life partners is immediately palpable..."

Bob and Marlene Neufeld bring thoughtfulness, presence, and years of wisdom into their presentations! Their abiding respect for each other and their connection as life partners is immediately palpable and provides both a foundation and framework for the content and activities they have planned for their audience.

HARRY, PROGRAM PARTICIPANT

"Simple and practical."

Marlene and Bob shared simple practical activities that helped my partner and I explore some really vulnerable topics in a safe and friendly way. I loved the “no big deal” approach to building new habits by making incremental changes.

MICHELLE, WORKSHOP PARTICIPANT

"...I feel relaxed in their presence..."

Marlene and Bob's authenticity is impeccable. I feel relaxed in their presence, as I witness transparency, joy, and a super helpful wealth of knowledge and experience. I was surprised by how lighthearted and full of deep wisdom Marlene and Bob are.

WITH GRATITUDE

A unique opportunity to join the Deeply Connected through Play course.

We feel joy and deep appreciation to Marlene and Bob Neufeld for choosing SoulAtPlay Media for producing and hosting this one-of-a-kind course.

Many of us didn't have an example of a couple resolving their issues, not through an escalation of a conflict or deep and often desperate conversation, but through playing.

If you would like to experience an authentic, alive, and ever-expanding relationship, this is a course for you.

DONNA, WORKSHOP PARTICIPANT

"Their passion for what they teach comes from knowing that their practices and tools work."

Participating in an online presentation with Marlene and Bob, I was surprised to see how quickly I relaxed. I appreciated their openness and transparency about their own relationship. In one moment, I could feel the delight that they take in each other, and then in the next, they refer to an incident in which one or the other was reactive and how they moved through that. Their passion for what they teach comes from knowing that their practices and tools work.
